Sad news for Leo.
He departed last evening. Ashley drove to Florence and picked him up. We buried him in his favorite place. We are comforted to know that they kept him pain-free throughout. We want to thank everyone for all the love and support you’ve given us through this.

*** Leo update ***
Apparently, he was headed home and he almost made it. He was hit by a car between 4D and Nails. He’s still alive, but it’s very serious. Ashley first took him to Mississippi State and now they are transferring him to LSU. If y’all don’t mind saying a prayer for a tortoise, please send one up. Also for Ashley’s safe travels. She just got off of work this morning and I know she’s tired. I’d like to say a special thank you to Brett Flora who witnessed it, scooped him up and ran to Nails and then called us. If it wasn’t for his Quick actions, we may not have got to him in time.

I think Leo has acquired a fan club now.
The turtle (Leo) was spotted but he escaped please still be on the look out for him. He looks larger in the picture. He belongs to our neighbor.
