La Casa De Sabor has been open for over a decade, started by Doreen Rangel and has been family operated since. Every thing is homemade from the beans, rice meat, and salsas, these are the recipes pasted down from generati

on to generation. We will continue to evolve and bring fresh, new, and quality food to Columbia River Gorge. Many customers have said "You guys make the best burrito in the Gorge!" We are certainly flattered by such compliments, but only your taste buds can be the judge of that. So come on in and try for yourself.

To All Our Valued Guests and Friends,

It is with great sadness that I’d like to announce that after 18 years this October will be our last month. For the remainder of the month, we will only be open on weekends and closed weekdays while we sort affairs during the week. Although it was a hard decision to make, I feel it is what is best for me at this point in my life. We are extremely humbled that so many embraced our restaurant, love the memories that we created, and grateful for the lifelong friends that we made over the years.

I would like to offer my sincerest thanks and deepest gratitude for all of your support over the years. So, for anyone who would like to wish us well we will be open only on the weekends and officially closing our doors at the end of October.

***updated**** Bella is out of the hospital thank you for all the support and love.

The family wanted to give an update on what’s going on:

September 13th Doreen’s youngest daughter was very sick so they went to the Hood River ER. We want to thank the team there for doing everything possible to stabilize her levels and keep her comfortable. Bella was transferred to St. Vincent for specialist to see her. We had some scary moments but Bella is out of the danger zone. Hopefully we will get more answers we need today with a treatment plan and hopefully Bella can be released soon. Bella, as well as the family, have a long road ahead to navigate these new waters.

Thank you for giving us the time and space to handle this emergency. For those that found out, thank you for reaching out and/or coming to visit Bella.
