Good Morning!!!! 🤦‍♀️Well I should say Good Afternoon didn’t realize it was so late! Welcome Summer!!! ☀️The calendar says Summer is here this coming Sunday!!!! But I think it’s ok to say it’s here now, close enough anyway, weather is beautiful, kids are out of school for vacation!!! Come see us at the Meadows!!! This week I have a Lunch Special of a Hot Meatloaf Sandwich ( In house made Meatloaf with American cheese, Lettuce, Red Onion a Tomato Sauce glaze on a toasted Ciabatta Roll) Yum 🤤

From now until the end of the season we will be having a “Salad of the Week” A different salad every week and once it’s gone it’s gone!!!
So this weeks Salad of the Week is
Taco Pasta Salad!!! All the flavors of a classic taco meets pasta and creates this delicious salad 🥗 topped with fried tortilla strips! Yum 🤤

Well, it’s almost 2:00 PM on this beautiful Saturday and I’m just now making a post! Where is Steph? She would have had this done hours ago! 🤣🤣🤣

As I’m looking things over, I realized I have about a half case of chicken too much to carry over until next week. You all know I like things fresh, so tonight I’m taking $2.00 off all chicken finger dinners!

We’ve gotta move some chicken! 🐔🐔🐔🤣🤣🤣

Order early because once they’re gone, they’re truly gone for the night! Don’t worry, I’ll have plenty more ready to go when we reopen on Wednesday at 11:30.

And Amber is still celebrating summer with $2.00 off all pizzas! 🍕☀️

Good Morning DownEast!!

Can you believe it’s the last week of school already? We’re heading into the middle of June at lightning speed!

I do have a little hiccup for today’s operations. Steph and I are headed to a food show in Bar Harbor this morning, so we won’t be opening until 1:00 PM today. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Just know I’m on the lookout for some yummy new ideas to add as specials, sides, and maybe even a few menu upgrades!

Now onto this week’s lunch specials! Steph came in yesterday and made homemade hummus for a delicious Veggie Wrap, and she also whipped up her special sauce for a Big Mac Quesadilla. Both specials will be available starting today and will run until sold out!

Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed for lunch today as we celebrate a very special occasion — the last of the family is graduating high school!

🎓 Congratulations, Hayden Hanscom! 🎉🎉 We are so proud of you and all of your hard work!

We will reopen at 4:00 PM and would be happy to feed both your family and all of your out-of-town guests.

This week’s wrap special is a Turkey Pesto Wrap ( sliced oven roasted turkey, homemade pesto mayo, baby spinach, fresh sliced tomato and American Cheese) on your choice of plain, spinach, or tomato basil wrap! 🌯

Stephanie’s Turkey Chipotle BLT went so well yesterday she had to make a fresh batch of her chipotle mayo this morning! Once that is done, the Turkey Chipotle BLT with fries will be back on special for $11.00. She has also come up with a BBQ Chicken Quesadilla for $9.00!

Today after 4:00 Amber will be baking up her yummy pizzas. Weekend pizza specials are:
• Buffalo Chicken
• Jalapeño Popper
• Chicken Bacon Ranch

And me… I’ll just be over here trying to stay warm again!! 🤣
