🕌 Qahwa Cafe's event of the year RAMADAN NIGHTS returns every SATURDAY Night starting TONIGHT! 🌙

Featuring a cavalcade of guest speakers (swipe right to see each week's topic and speakers), this year's theme is THE SEARCH. ✨👀

Each week of this 4-PART SERIES will focus on the different institutions and people that created us, how to rediscover them, and how they can bring us closer to God. 🤲

Highlighting our personal experiences and incorporating key lessons from the story of PROPHET MUSA (Peace Be Upon Him), this monumental event is open to ALL young adults ages 18+ 📿

So please join us for a special RAMADAN SERIES of Qahwa’s book club LATTES AND LIT! Starting MARCH 8, we will be reading Sins: The Poison of the Heart by Dr. Haifaa Younis. 🖤❤️

This special WEEKLY series is open to SISTERS AGES 18+ and takes place Saturdays from 12pm-1:30pm in Qahwa Café. Participate in discussions on how sins impact the heart, our deen, and our daily lives, all in the greater service of learning to overcoming these sins as believers! 🤲

Registration is free and linked in the bio! Books will not be provided and participants should read chapter 1 by the first meeting. Led by Imam Farhan Siddiqi, join us SATURDAY for a special event where we will use the hit manga and anime ATTACK ON TITAN as a focal point to discuss the true meaning of freedom in Islam. ⛓️🕊️

Consisting of a lecture, Q&A and discussion questions, we will look at how characters in the show view freedom, what the Islamic definition of freedom is, and the deeper meaning behind being a Slave of God. 🤲

This event is open to all attendees ages 16+. All are welcome whether you're a fan of anime or are simply interested in the topic. Familiarity with Attack on Titan is recommended but not necessary. ⚔️🔰

Join us this SUNDAY for the latest session of Understanding Emotion with Imam Abdul-Malik Merchant ( ). This session covers ANGER and explores its purpose through an Islamic lens. We will examine the benefits and harms of anger while highlighting the necessity of emotional awareness to deal with the anger within ourselves and within others.

Comprised of a lecture, Q&A, and discussion circles, special attention will be placed on current events and difficulties in our own lives such as the crisis in Palestine that have resulted in much anger in the Muslim Community.
