Meet our Spotlight Teacher, Rachal!

"My name is Rachal and I will be a 6th grade reading teacher/504 Coordinator at Hico ISD. I have taught PreK for the past 6 years and am excited to begin a new journey. As you can see, jumping from PreK to 6th grade is like starting all over in setting up a classroom. The money used will help make an inviting space for the new to junior high students, as well as supply my classroom with the right reading materials to help Hico Tigers grow into successful readers in this ever changing world. Thank you!"

Meet our Spotlight Teacher, Laura!

"My name is Laura, and I am a 3rd-grade bilingual math and science teacher at Hook Elementary in Stephenville ISD. I am passionate about helping students grow academically while maintaining pride in both their language and culture, and I strive to create a classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and capable of success. Building meaningful relationships with my students and helping them reach their full potential is the most rewarding part of my job. A $250 gift card would allow me to purchase materials for classroom room transformations that create engaging, hands-on learning experiences and keep students excited and motivated to learn throughout the year."
