Announcement from Cosette Café - we will be taking a pause!

Hi everyone. We have some changes taking place at Cosette so we will be taking a pause after this Sunday's service. Much of the team will be taking some much needed vacay, but then moving on...including, most importantly, our chef Leo, who has been running Cosette since we opened on October 5th. Bravo and hats off to this very tight team who bring you a large, eclectic, and interesting menu everyday, which is incredibly challenging given the size of the kitchen. Despite ups and downs, this team has fun together! We appreciate all our supporters in Staunton and the Shenandoah Valley (and beyond); you have showed us a lot of love! We love you all back!
Sincere gratitude to Leo and the crew and to all of you wonderful patrons.

GOOD MORNING STAUNTON!! What a wild couple of weeks it has been, from our AC being out, to being closed for a week, it is GREAT to be back to our regularly scheduled hours! We are back with big bold flavors, here's what we got:
Gluten Free Muffin: Pineapple Upside Down Muffin
Vegan Scone: Peach Cobbler with Cinnamon crumble
Soup: Chilled Carrot, Ginger, and Tumeric Soup
Frittata: Bell peppers, green onion, garlic, and cheddar
Salad: Tomato Cucumber (a returning favorite from the fall!)

Pictured above is one of our lovely staff holding our massive homemade focaccia bread! We make these sheet sized "loaves" each week and we gotta admit they are dang good! Thanks for being patient with us Staunton, we love and appreciate all of you! Can't wait to see you in!

GOOD MORNING STAUNTON!! We have been hard at work these past couple days getting everything set for your brunch and lunch needs. Our menu highlight of the week is the FOCACCIA PARADISO *pictured above* This sandwich is made with our home made focaccia, thinly sliced prosciutto, goat cheese, arugula, and drizzled with honey. The sunlight sure makes it look FABULOUS! In other news, this week our flavors are:

MENU HIGHLIGHT: THE ASTEROID!
Shamelessly named after one of the chef's closest friends, the Asteroid features a house made avocado mash, sliced tomatoes, a fried egg, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. It's one of our staff favorites and absolutely delicious! Come in and try one today! Here until 2:30, see you in soon Staunton!

GOOD MORNING STAUNTON! Happy Thursday! We are back with new fun flavors this week, and some old favorites😉

Scones ARE VEGAN THIS WEEK!! Made with our housemade spice mixture, and topped with a bit of sugar to sweeten it up. The muffins are strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry YUM😍 Our soup is a comfy creamy corn soup, it's oat milk based so for our lactose intolerant friends, this is the soup for you!!! To finish off, we have a caprese frittata! Featuring fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato, and a spiral of balsamic glaze. We're here today thru Monday, 7:30-2:30 we'll see you in soon!
