Hey! It’s been a while, and I’ve missed this.

For those who do not know, my health has been keeping me away from baking for some time now. I have endometriosis and over the past year it has affected me greatly. In July I will be having a hysterectomy that will hopefully free me to do all the things I love again, including baking.

Last week I had a few pain free days that allowed me to make this baby shower cake and two birthday cakes for twin sweet boys. It was so wonderful and I really hope this next surgery allows me to continue to bring joy not only to myself, but my family and friends as well. For the summer it’ll be quiet here, but get ready for the fall!
