Apparently, finding pasta cooked al dente has become harder than finding parking on Staten Island.

Everyone gets quiet when it hits the table. You take one bite. Somebody looks around. Somebody shakes their head. And then you hear it:

“This isn’t al dente.”

Now the whole night is ruined. Your father is aggravated. Your aunt is explaining how she makes it better at home. And your sister officially decided the restaurant isn’t Italian. 😂

Joe Causi’s solution? Walk out. Don’t make another dish. Don’t ask for the manager. Just walk out. 🤌

Last Sunday, Staten Islanders Gathered To Dedicate A Bench To A Very Special Boy In The Beautiful Newly Renovated Annadale Park.

Following That, Terrible Eddies Has Added The SI # 25 Nicholas “Nicky The Changer” D’Amora To Honor His Legacy.

Chicken Vodka Parm, Prosciutto, On Garlic Bread.
A Collaboration Of Nicky’s Faves.

An Excellent Hero Named For A Staten Island Hero.

He was in the car. He was in the kitchen. He was in the deli, the barbershop, and he was on your father's radio which nobody else was allowed to touch.

Weddings, block parties, Sunday drives, he was the soundtrack. Decades on the air in this city and he still sounds exactly like you remember.
