Good morning StarkVegas!!! I was thinking about possibly doing some cakes and catering down here in the Destin / 30A area. I know a lot of customers have bought casseroles from me over the years to bring to the beach. This will save you some traveling space, more room for shopping bags!!!! I was also thinking about family meals and delivering hot ready to eat. What do you think? Anybody possibly interested?

Mark Anthony Taylor

On Thursday, January 23, 2020, Mark Anthony Taylor passed away at the age of 59. Mark was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and one of the biggest MS State fans you’ve ever met.

Mark was born in Memphis, TN on April 6, 1960. He moved with his wife and family to Mandeville, LA in 2002, Starkville, MS in 2008, and Santa Rosa Beach, FL just a few short months ago.

Mark loved Mississippi State so much that he moved his family to Starkville not once, but twice.

Mark loved many things but Mississippi State was at the top of that list. He was always ready to cheer on his Dawgs no matter the sport! Some people claim they bleed maroon and white but Mark had the prettiest maroon blood you’ve ever seen!! You rarely saw him without a maroon shirt, a huge smile, and a laugh that was sure to warm your heart. He never met a stranger and always fought for the underdog, he was truly one of the “good guys”.

He leaves his wife, Carol (Gelston), his children Kayce Ashe, Dustin (Molly) Taylor, Kourtney (Luke) Hall, Cody (Whitney) Smith, Nick Taylor, and Sox grandchildren. Mark also leaves his parents, Bill and Cordie Taylor, his sister Rebecca (Jason) Carter and two nephews Jacob Carter and Clifton (Rebecca) Zeigenhorn.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held in Starkville, MS on Saturday, February 8 at 2p.m. It will be held at the MSU football M club in the Seal Building on the University Campus.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to the American Heart association.
