Northern Wisconsin State Fair Open Show.

These kids busted their tails after getting back from Jr. Nationals. They came home determined, motivated, and hungry to improve—and they did exactly that.

That's one incredible haul of hardware.

But as impressive as those banners and buckles are, they're not what keeps us coming back. We already knew this was the best beef in the Midwest.

What keeps us coming back is the family behind it.

Anyone who knows me knows that people will always come before anything else. Great cattle are easy to admire, but great people are what make you want to come back year after year.

Congratulations to all of you. Your hard work showed, and we couldn't be happier for your family.

It is with a heavy heart that we share this next post.

On Sunday, July 12, we will be closing the kitchen as we provide food for a Celebration of Life for a man many knew as Cowboy.

I knew him as my friend.

Everyone is welcome to come down, starting at 1 pm share a drink, tell your best Cowboy story, and spend some time remembering him the way he would have wanted.

Cowboy wouldn’t have wanted a big fuss, so we’ll keep it simple — some food, some drinks, good stories, and maybe a card game or two.

Please join us in remembering Cowboy.

Reclaimed Tavern & Grill will be closed Friday morning and afternoon while we finish upgrades to our new heating and cooling system.

We plan to reopen Friday at 5 PM for dinner.

Today, as America celebrates her 250th birthday, I want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to every veteran who stood watch so the rest of us could live in freedom. Thank you to those who never made it home and to the families who carry their memory every single day.

Thank you to every Gold Star family, to every mom, dad, son, daughter, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, and friend who has lost someone in service to this country. Your sacrifice is woven into the very fabric of our nation, and we will never forget it.

Thank you to our first responders who run toward danger when everyone else is running away. Every day you put yourselves on the line for complete strangers, and our communities are stronger because of your courage.

I have the greatest job in the world, Because of all of you, I get to meet incredible people, celebrate with families, and welcome so many into my own extended family. To those who have lost someone, please know this: they are not only in your heart—they are in mine too.

Yes, we have different opinions. Yes, we see the world differently. But today, let's remember what brings us together instead of what pulls us apart.

Together, we are Americans.

Our DIFFERENCES is what makes this country great not weak.
