Our roots go all the way back to Italy. 🇮🇹❤️

“I remember riding on the handlebars of my dad’s bicycle, with my mom sitting on the back as he pedaled. As we rode, he would use a newspaper to catch lightning bugs along the way.

It’s one of my fondest memories of growing up in Italy — a simple moment that has stayed with me for a lifetime.

An era is coming to an end. ❤️

One of the things we’re most proud of at DiMare Pastry Shop isn’t just what we bake — it’s the young people who grow up alongside us.

For so many local high school students, DiMare is their very first job. They walk through our doors learning how to clock in, help a customer, work as a team, and take responsibility — but somewhere along the way, we learn from them too. We laugh, we make memories, and relationships are built that last long after their final shift.

Now, these four incredible young women are moving on to the next chapter of their lives, and we couldn’t be prouder. ❤️

We wish you nothing but success wherever life takes you. Just remember — you’ll always have a place in the DiMare family, a place in our hearts… and probably a place behind the counter when you’re home for school break or we need reinforcements during the holiday rush. 😂

We’re so excited to see where life takes the four of you.

Some traditions aren’t meant to change.

Our Italian sweet bow tie cookies are still made by hand, just as they always have been. The way we make them today is the way Ugo learned many years ago—honoring the recipes, techniques, and traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Some things are worth preserving, and one bite will tell you why these are truly to die for.
