The Unperfect Fried Pie story.

WOWSA!!!!!! Well to start off, this company was called Best West Texas Fried Pies, but as you can read it has changed. Why change, well our son Patrick Herman says Mom, “everyone is the “best” at something, you see that everywhere.” I said,” ok son what do you think? I’m going to have to DBA another time. That cost money.” He said, “ you need a story behind your pies Mom. When you started in kitchen on that little red table with that rolling pin, not one pie was the same. You need to name it “Unperfect Fried Pie Co.” I said ok, with Burney in the background saying, “Unperfect is not a word, it’s Imperfect.” Patrick said, “dad that’s the jist of it. Every pie is unperfect. There is not one thing on this earth perfect or the same.” So that’s how it became Unperfect Fried pie Co. Patrick said, “once you get equipment that can roll 500 a hour and fry 32 every 4 minutes they will be to be closer to the same, but still there are days they may be a little Unperfect.” So therefore the name.

On a dreary Saturday 3 years ago, Burney was at work and I decided to go in the kitchen and tinker with my fried pie dough. Well I liked it, so I took a few to the rodeo and did really well. So I thought, after the rodeo everything will level off. It didn’t. Before I knew it I was in the Haskell Drug Store, Wes-t-Go convenience store, and Chillers convenience store. I was doing all this with a rolling pin one by one, and could only fry 4 every 4 minutes. Crazy, yes it was, but I did that for 2 years not knowing I was building a fried pie manufacturing company. So, as of this date, 8-14-18 we are Unperfect Fried Pie Co. We can roll 500 pies an hour, and fry 32 every 4 minutes. We are in 7 places around the area.

Come on by 221 w McHarg Stamford, Texas and pick you up some pies. It is our hope that one day we can ship pies anywhere. We are located in the old Beggs Wholesale Building. This is where my dad Pat York worked for 27 years selling candy and to***co wholesale. Now his daughter is selling wholesale fried pies. WOW!!!!
