As of today, Freddy Donuts Stafford is officially under new ownership. It was an incredibly difficult decision to make, but we have chosen to focus on our original store in Fredericksburg so that we can give you the quality and service that you, the customer, deserve. You have given us so much; and we can’t begin to tell you how thankful we are for each and every one of our patrons in Stafford. Our regulars became like family (and we do hope you will swing by Fredericksburg sometime to say hello), and we treasure the memories we have made here.
For those worried about where they will get their coffee and donut fix, fear not. Donuts will still be made every morning, and your coffee will still be waiting. It just won’t be under the ownership of the Grimes family. We are excited and happy with the new owner; and we truly feel it’s his goal to give you an excellent experience. If you have become attached to Katie and Lisa as we very much have, and appreciate their smiling faces and excellent service, don’t y’all worry. They are still there.
Saying goodbye is never easy, so we prefer not to. Instead we will say “see you around” and encourage you all to keep coming. Stop in, say hello to the new owner, and make him feel welcome in this town as you did for us.
Thank you again for everything Stafford, your support has kept us going. We pass the torch in confidence.
