As I sit in the rehabilitation center rehabilitating I learned of the loss of my good friend and mentor Martin L. Mathews.

I would like to pay homage to this great man today. He served me as a second father. He allowed me to provide services to the Mathews Dickey Boys and Girls Club for 15 years as a football and baseball coach.

In my opinion there will never be another man who can fill the shoes of Martin L Mathews.
