Saturday brunch starts at 10:30am West End Junction performs Noon-2pm. Saturday Evening: The Colin Trusedell Jazz Band 7p-11p. Sunday Hot Swing Jazz Brunch starts at 10:30am. Sarah Jane & the Blue Notes perform 11:30a-2:30p. This Sunday features a classic & antique car show outside the Historic Pierce Arrow Building at Evangeline’s. No cover.

Tonight: The Larry Johnson Quartet featuring the amazing vocals of Kim Fuller @ 7pm.
Pics are from the great Forest Park balloon race last week. A bunch of the balloons landed around Evangeline’s Bistro & Music House , Bowood Farms and Noteworthy Café & Culture. It was very cool to see. Probably a little nerving for the pilots. From what we heard, the weather was so hot the balloons couldn’t achieve the lift they needed to maintain altitude to keep traveling. Enjoy the pics. Once in a lifetime. Have a beautiful weekend! 🎈🎹

The one and amazing Shaun Munday tonight. 7pm-9pm. Complimentary free show brought to you by Big Finger Records.
Shaun Munday brings soul drenched vocals and show-stopping bass guitar to every performance. He is a graduate of the Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA where he studied and performed with some of the greatest artists and educators in the industry including John Mayer, Esperanza Spalding, Matthew Garrison (Herbie Hancock), Antonio Sanchez (Pat Metheny) and Jetro De Silva (Whitney Houston).
Shaun performs internationally and has shared the stage with Lalah Hathaway, Corinne Bailey Rae, Andra Day, Mary Wilson of The Supremes, blues legend Robert Cray, reggae royalty Aston Barrett and The Wailers (Bob Marley’s band), country music star Collin Raye, Devon Allman, Yonrico Scott of the Royal Southern Brotherhood and the band Kansas.
Gumbo specials tonight. Happy Hour 4pm-7pm & 10pm - close.
