We've made some exciting changes to our leadership and HQ staffing. This January, members Nora Brady and Mike Marquard began transitioning into different leadership roles, and some existing team members were promoted into new positions.
Nora is now the Director of the Roastery. She leads the roastery staff, overseeing coffee selection, design & marketing, production & fulfillment, and supervising all sales channels including our web store, wholesale, and third-party platforms.
Mike is our first Chief Financial Officer. He tracks our Blueprint's financial health, mentors other leaders, and tackles special projects to assist with our company's growth & stability. He also continues to lead our sister company, STL Coffee Equipment Services (STLCES) — installing, maintaining, and repairing coffee equipment for industry partners throughout the region.
These changes created an opening in our Wholesale & Sales department, and we're proud to announce that Laura Therina is stepping into this role. Laura has served as Fulfillment Lead on our Production team since last year, and she comes to us with a wealth of experience in the St. Louis food & beverage industry. In her new role as Wholesale Account Manager & Sales Representative, Laura will serve our current wholesale partners and manage incoming sales inquiries.
The STLCES team has also seen recent growth: Marija Lajsic, an integral part of our fulfillment team since 2021, is our newest Equipment Technician. Since last year she's been working as an apprentice to STLCES, undergoing training and working with Mike to learn the trade. Adding Marija to the STLCES team has greatly increased our capacity for timely preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, service.
