Alright guys n gals. Weight this morning was 149. I gained around 2 lbs the last few weeks. Not terrible but when leaning for shows, also not amazing. 😅. It took about a week to get rid of the bloated, puffy look with regular foods and excercise.

I probably should have been a bit tighter with my diet but I also knew I would immediately get back to business.

I made the decision to not do the June show I planned. I also just wasnt quite ready to lock it down at that time so i opted to not do it and have a little more flexibility when I vacationed.

I wanted to show you all that you can be a little more flexible at times but also be mindful of what you eat when you are traveling.

Tips.
1. Make sure at least 2 or 3 meals are healthy.
2. Be mindful of the meals that may be higher in calories or are more of a cheat meal. Dont eat poorly every day.
3. Get as much excercise as you can. That doesnt mean hit the gym because sometimes that doesnt fit in. I was fortunate enough to have the ability to train a few days and I walked a LOT. Too much 😂. I got no real relaxation. But the point is fit in at least some walks to help burn calories.
4. Just be mindful when you are on vacation. Have fun but that does not mean 4 out of 4 meals is cake and pizza.
5. I made sure to get good proteins with each meals. I continued to have salad or vegetables as i normally would. The portions were bigger some days but because of that I cut 4 meals down to 3.

Tomorrow is the start of way less carbs. Eep! Wish me luck. I need to get busy for my July show!

Back from vacation. Definitely puffy. Lets see how long it takes to get my body back to its normal state. This was last night. 2 normal days of eating. First day back on my normal gym regimen.

Decided not to do a June show simply because I knew I wasn't going to be ready. And that's OK. My choice.

1. I was able to workout several days and walked a lot with my sisters ♡. So i still got some form of excercise every day.
2. I had at least 2 of my normal meals each day. I ate maybe 3 meals verses my normal 4 or 5.
3. I did not consume more meals than normal. So I was mindful and intentional when I did eat off diet.
4. I ate off diet more than normal simply because I wanted to be less restricted for a change. I normally dont do this.
*My stomach definitely hurt and I felt terrible by the end of the week. So it wasnt even really worth it. LOL. That always happens to me. Which reminds me why I eat better than that.

When u eat well 95% of the time. The body bounces back much faster.

I'll post again when I get back to normal. Experiment time! You can see my tummy is a bit floofy. Lol I dont love that and that is what genuinely keeps me motivated. So let's see how long it takes me to bounce back.
