Public service announcement—-to anyone that has ever asked someone in the hospitality industry for a gift certificate, comp room, free drink or simply a family or friends discount now is a good time to repay that person / company and go visit their venue, buy a meal in the restaurant, grab a drink in their bar and go to sleep in a hotel room. Those companies and people gave to your good cause or charity when asked now it’s time to repay them and go visit their business. It will help not only them but all of their staff. If you don’t feel comfortable eating out, go buy a gift card to return in future. Thank you on behalf of all of us in hospitality.
