Today, our Gift Shop & Museum turns 6 years old on Historic Route 66, and celebrating this milestone during the Route 66 Centennial year makes it even more special.
We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to use this space for more than just souvenirs. From collaborating with local businesses and organizations to hosting animal adoption events, toy drives, and welcoming Santa each holiday season, it’s been an honor to be part of so many special moments. What started as a gift shop has become a place to celebrate history, community, and memories.
If you’re in town, stop by and explore our museum, which shares the history of Ted Drewes from Ted Sr.‘s first custard stand in 1929 through four generations of family tradition. Browse our collection of Ted Drewes, St. Louis, and Route 66 souvenirs, add a pin to our visitor map, and help us celebrate six years on Route 66. Over the last six years, we’ve welcomed visitors from all 50 states and countries around the world.
