My mom died, I have surgery tomorrow, and just trying to get through the days.

I have hand and arm surgery tomorrow, so I made some of Bobbie Stearns Costello’s signature desserts for her funeral this upcoming weekend, and put them in the freezer. Her infamous New York Style Cheesecakes, Carrot Cakes with cream cheese frosting, and chocolate Mousse dessert, which will get fresh strawberries and chocolate shavings day of. I might make some homemade strawberry compote for the cheesecakes today and some dream bars if my hand and arm cooperate.

I know you will be looking down proud of your amazing desserts. I will keep making them for the rest of my life. 💓

Update on Mom and Dad-

Thank you everyone for all of the kind words and thoughts. If you are messaging or texting my mom, she’s not able to understand how to use her phone. We check it when we can and let her know of the sweet messages you guys are sending. Thank you ❤️ feel free to keep them coming and we will share them with her.

My dad had his appt with his oncologist today after his 6 rounds of chemo. He responded very well to chemo and a lot of his numbers came down. He will be doing 2 more rounds of chemo starting next week in hopes to get him in remission. We feel very hopeful. ❤️

Thank you again everyone for the support. This has all been very hard and the last couple of days have been especially rough, but we are lucky to have the family and friends we have. I am so thankful for my partner Lexi, my brother Josh, sister in law, Michelle, and niece, Jordyn. And of course Tallis, Gia, and Sophia for the constant laughs and entertainment.

It is amazing how much you can do when you have a wonderful family and friends. 💓🙏
