Built in the early 1900’s as a tavern, restaurant, and boarding house, this venue is centrally located in St Louis’ historic Italian neighborhood commonly known as “The Hill”. The property boasts a pergola covered courtyard with stone water feature, terrazzo floors, high beamed ceilings, graceful archways, leaded glass windows, and a well-lit parking lot. This is a very special place, perfect for wedding ceremonies & receptions, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, wedding and baby showers, birthday celebrations, corporate functions, and all other types of special events. Oliva on the Hill is now open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00am to 2:00pm. Come by and enjoy a bite to eat on our patio! Be sure to check out The Hill Antique Market located right next door to Oliva. Every Wednesday night Oliva transforms into a pop-up wine bar from 5-10pm during Wine Down Wednesdays. Enjoy wine, beer, cocktails, and small plate food items prepared by Catering St. Oliva also offers accommodations at their Oliva Lofts apartments. Choose between 2 fully renovated apartments: Loft A has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. Loft B has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a full kitchen. Oliva Lofts are available to rent for a weekend stay or longer getaway. For those having a wedding at Oliva, Oliva Lofts are perfect to get ready with bridesmaids, or are also a great option for out-of-town guests to stay.

W**e Down Wednesdays at Oliva on the Hill
In a previous article, we gave praise to Oliva on the Hill for its beautiful outdoor terrace located in the heart of the Hill, optimal for enjoying W**e Down Wednesdays. The cafe and bistro, typically open for lunch throughout the week, also opens every Wednesday from 5-10 p.m. for w**e and small bites, such as Italian beef sliders, goat cheese dip, Parmesan fries and arancini. Though the space is often associated with and frequented during the warmer months because of the aforementioned dreamy European-style patio, guests are invited to enjoy it year-round. Inside, guests can also order cocktails and spritzes from a full bar. From there, you can sip and sit in their bar room, or sit and shop the antiques from The Hill Antique Market that is connected.
