Happy Wednesday! I have some news to share…Corner Kitchen is closed and we’re stepping away. I’ve sacrificed everything in my life to make CK a success and walk away proud and with my head held high.
A few months back I knew we had to get smaller or bigger and tried to partner with a handful of restaurant groups and/or investors and partners. While everyone loved what we do and how we do it, no one was in a position to commit resources outside of their businesses. Getting smaller would be ideal but I couldn’t figure out how to get us there.
I want to thank Biggie for his 💯 commitment to CK the last 32 months as well as Eric, Jeff and those that made working fun and the family environment that was one of the best parts about CK.
Thank you to all of you who supported us whether it was from day 1 or you just found us recently.
I could give a lot of details about reasons but it comes down to the pains overwhelmingly outpace the gain.
I still own the CK name and recipes so maybe one day, we’ll run it back. In the meantime, we hope you welcome Jose and Amigos Street Tacos (coming soon) as much as you welcomed CK.
