Turns out, there are a lot of ways to be rich. 🤎
Rich is knowing your name when you walk through the door. Knowing your usual order. Watching your kids grow. Seeing the same faces that supported us when Papelón was just a weekend pop-up.
Rich is getting to build a business while still being there for our family. Having our daughter grow up around what we’re building, and showing her what it looks like to create something from the ground up.
And rich is knowing that along the way, this little business has also created opportunities for other people to work, grow, and take care of their own families.
Some of you have followed us from pop-ups, to the food truck, to Ferndale, and now to our little Market in St. Clair Shores. You’ve watched this business grow right alongside our family.
Small business ownership isn’t always easy. Some days it’s actually really, really hard. But then we look around at the people, the friendships, the families, the memories, and the community that exists because we decided to take a chance on this little idea.
And we realize…
we are pretty damn rich. 🤎
Not because of what we have.
But because of what we’ve been able to build — and who we’ve been able to build it with.
