10 years ago we sold everything except our home to buy this little pizza shop in the Shores.
We already knew how to make a good pizza and we slowly figured out how to run a business 😅
Over the last decade we have seen so so SO many ups and downs. But here we are, still hanging in there and loving every minute of being a part of this community.
Some things we’ve learned about being a small business owner - you will work harder than anyone could ever imagine. You’ll take on more unwarranted criticism than you think you can shoulder. You’ll worry more than you ever thought possible and you’ll lose more sleep than you get on many nights. But here’s what keeps us going…
✨Our staff. We have the absolute best staff anywhere around. We’ve had many kids start with us at 15 years old that have left after finishing highschool, trade school or college 🥹 Every person that has been on our team stays part of our family. We genuinely love them and it has been the greatest joy to have gotten to teach so many of your kids how to be hardworking, kind and dependable young adults.
✨You. Our customers. You’re also our friends and our neighbors and we just have so much love and appreciation for you all.
The thought that so many of you have gathered around your tables with our food and celebrated life’s big events…wow, what a privilege it is to serve you.
The many folks that move into the city and grab our pizza after a hard day of unpacking boxes. We just can’t even tell you what an honor it is to be your first meal in your new home.
All of you who have been in a hard time and have picked up food because you just can’t even handle thinking about making dinner. The fact that you choose us is humbling.
These are the things we think about and talk about at home. They’re truly the things that keep us going.
Thank you from the depths of our hearts. There are so many places you could choose (lord knows SCS especially has no shortage of pizza 😂) but you choose us and we just couldn’t be more grateful.
