For the customer who had been in the bakery last week with the cute Wizard of Oz purse, here is the picture of Mickey Carroll, whose real name was Michael Finocchiaro, as one of the Munchkins in the movie. He always came in with a song and a dance and was always happy to sign autographs for anyone who was in the bakery. Everyone loved Mickey!

We want to thank you all for being so patient as we took two weeks off following Easter. This is not our normal schedule, however, we had an opportunity to teach in Palermo, Sicily and we chose to take it.
While visiting with our Sicilian family, we also enjoyed teaching a few lessons at a pastry school, as well as being interviewed by a renowned food blogger. It was an incredible experience!
Here are a few pictures of our amazing trip and we look forward to seeing everyone back with regular business hours starting this Friday, April 24th!
