Family-owned and rooted in Buenos Aires tradition, bringing the flavors, culture, and warmth of Argentina to St. Since 2000, we've perfected the art of the Argentinean empanada. 🇦🇷 We are TANGO Argentina Food, a family-run business formed by Argentine couple Stella and Hector (a.k.a. Since 2000, we have been bringing you the best authentic Argentine empanadas to the Greater St. Our venture started at festivals and fairs throughout the Greater St. Louis area (check out our gallery to see pictures of our booth throughout the years!), and we’ve since become a fixture on the festival circuit. We were fortunate enough to be able to open up a brick-and-mortar location in 2016 in St. Charles and eternally grateful to be able to move to a bigger location in 2021. We are currently located on West Clay in St. Charles, right behind Lindenwood University and right next to Goodwill. We are thrilled to be able to continue to offer take-out and delivery (through Grubhub and DoorDash), but also a dine-in experience as well with our new location. With our food, we take pride in using imported dough and spices directly from our home country to ensure the best possible genuine Argentine flavor right here in the Midwest. We use traditional family recipes, fresh local products, and lots of love in making our empanadas. Our empanadas are fried to order — never cooked ahead. We put a lot of passion into what we do.
