Not sure if I’m ready to make this post. Swipe to see the start and where we were as a young family of 3 with another on the way when we first started Wild Oak. 🥹 It’s been an amazing chapter and I thank God for every second of it.
First, I want to thank our community who stood with us all these almost 8 years and supported and loved us. We would not have lasted here in Springville without the outpouring of love. 🥰
Secondly, to all my employees throughout the years, thank you for teaching me so much. God brought to me so many lifelong relationships through Wild Oak and I treasure the fact that I have quite a few amazing friendships because of this place. You know who you are and my life would not be the same without you. Wild Oak wouldn’t have been the same without you. ❤️
I also want to thank my family for the constant prayers, encouragement, and literally helping me sometimes with getting the coffee order, supplies, Costco runs, etc to keep this place on its feet. 😘
• Oh Wild Oak, you made my life so much better in so many ways. You challenged me to my core, taught me patience, how to be a servant leader, how to manage, be a boss and a friend, and led me to help bring about a place of community within Springville, which in turn brought to me so many beautiful friends and friends I call family. I would not be the same woman without this chapter! 🥹
God used Wild Oak as a vessel for His kingdom and that’s exactly what I prayed this place would be. And He blessed me along the way in my obedience to bring glory to His name when we were successful and made it through the many challenges brought our way: a few devastating fires in our mountains, Covid, inflation, etc… Owning a small business during all of these challenges was not easy at all and there were so many times I wanted to throw in the towel, but God brought us through. AMEN!
And even through all of that, we were made stronger. My family and I are better because of owning this small business. 👏🏼
In all of this, we also want you all to know just how bittersweet this is for us. We started this business from scratch as our own baby and built it up to what it became. So many people have questioned why we’re letting go and moving on, and it’s because well, God has drawn out a different path for our family and we are heeding to His calling. With both of our girls at an age where they’re becoming so involved in extra activities and another baby on the way, we knew something had to give. This mama is ready to be 100% mama. So many of you mamas out there can completely understand! 🙌🏻
Wild Oak was a chapter of our lives that we’ll forever cherish and be so proud of. Literally an accomplishment I can’t help but be so grateful and proud of because we built it from the ground up. Gah… it’s so bittersweet…. And I’m going to miss it so much. 🥺
As we close this chapter of our lives, we again want to say thank you for loving us. Thank you for sticking by us even in the challenging years. Thank you for your continued love and support. Thank you for your encouraging words and for even congratulating us on the sell of the business, even when you might be a bit bummed to see us go. I just want you to know how eternally grateful I am for each and every one of you.
•The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. • Numbers 6:24-26
God bless you and keep you. And who knows, this mama has a huge entrepreneurial heart too. You never know if God brings about another dream for me to build. Thanks for the memories and goodbye to you all…. For now. ❤️
