I am late in making this post but if you know me, I’m always running one step behind. 🤣🤣 Over the past several weeks I’ve received some very special gifts. These gifts really touched me and made me stop and realize just how special our community is.

I received a beautiful butterfly quilt, made by an absolute dear , she came into celebrate her 94th birthday and surprised me with a gift!! We love Ms. Jean, she is a treasure for sure.

A lavender plant tucked into the most adorable teacup planter, from a special couple that drives in from Weatherford to eat with us and (also lets me sleep with him as the Dr. orders IYKYK 🤣🤣) also a darling little fall arrangement made from a teacup and saucer from another sweet person (I believe it was Cindy but didn’t get a last name) that is a friend to my Tia.

I am incredibly grateful for every single person who has supported us this past year. Every visit, every kind word, every referral, every shared post and surprise gifts and donations mean more than you probably realize.

Thank you for loving House of Tea & More and for making us personally feel so very loved. ❤️

Now… I just need to figure out where I’m going to put all these beautiful things because apparently I’m collecting teacups and feelings. 😂☕️

🥗 NEW SALADS HAVE ARRIVED!🥗

Both of our new salads are officially on the menu!

🌿 The Garden Chef’s Salad
Fresh, colorful, crunchy and loaded with all the good stuff.

🥓 The Tea House Wedge Salad
Crisp iceberg, our creamy homemade blue cheese dressing, bacon, toasted pecans, black pepper, a touch of maple, tomatoes and pickled onion. Because a wedge should never be boring!

And because we apparently weren’t busy enough… 😂 we made TWO new homemade salad dressings, too!

🍷 Cabernet Balsamic Vinaigrette
Rich, tangy and just a little bit fancy.

🧀 Creamy Blue Cheese
Because sometimes you just need a really good blue cheese dressing.

And seriously… where else are you going to get homemade salad dressings made right here in the kitchen? 😉

Because every now and then, even we need to put down the scones and eat our vegetables. 😂

We’ve got TWO new salads coming to the menu, and we’ve definitely given them the House of Tea treatment.

✨ The Tea House Wedge
A generous wedge of crisp iceberg lettuce covered in our homemade blue cheese dressing, then topped with a ridiculously good crumble of bacon, toasted pecans, cracked black pepper and just a hint of maple. Add fresh ombré tomatoes, a little pickled onion and a delicate drizzle of balsamic, and suddenly iceberg lettuce has never looked so fancy.

✨ The Garden Chef’s Salad
A crunchy combination of spring greens and iceberg lettuce piled high with our grilled chicken, smoked ham, tomato, cucumber, carrot, pickled onion, boiled egg and house croutons. Choose your favorite dressing and dig in!

The House of Tea and More is looking for a passionate and dependable part-time cook to join our team.

We operate a scratch kitchen, preparing our food with care and quality ingredients. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.

What We're Looking For
• A genuine passion for cooking and creating quality food
• Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred but not required
• Dependability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well in a busy, team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn and follow our recipes and standards
• Attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety

This is currently a part-time position, with the potential for additional hours and growth as our business expands. Pay is based on experience.

New Chefs cake has hit the display case! Chocolate Raspberry.

Chocolate cake, with a chocolate ganache, fresh raspberries and raspberry mouse in between the layers. All covered in raspberry buttercream, more fresh raspberries with chocolate and raspberry drizzle.

It’s so good, this one won’t last long!
