AmJenn's soups & scoops AmJenns opened on Nov 1st 2006! We serve a full sit down breakfast and offer a variety of foods for lunch.

We have soups, sandwiches, burgers, a party melt, ruben, etc. We also proudly serve Blue Bell hand scooped ice cream! This litlle shop has been decorated by just about everyone in the community... stop by and see, and get your pic on the wall. We have original pics of Elvis, while he was in the army or at the Louisiana hay ride. We also have a small arcade in the party room to play while your waiting for your food. Friday is our late night... we're will be open till 8pm serving breakfast and there arcade is open.

well... its been a week since I closed...I thought I'd let y'all know how its going. First ...I sure miss my friends. I wish there was a place that we could all meet.{my morning group and my lunch group}. My house is in such disarray.. I'm getting it back in shape...slowly.. but it will get there eventually. I've got so many things I NEED to do {sewing, thank you cards,build the shed. The hardest part of "being retired" is realizing that not everything has to be done TODAY..I haven't taken a nap yet and that's ok cause I get to sleep in a little bit.I say that but I still get up before the sun comes out. I cant wait to sit with my lunch crowd and visit. Thursday evening I sit with Creed and watched a movie then read a book, getting him ready for bed and sleep was a lot easier... I think he really needs that attention. I've gone to Bossier 3 times, went to the Dr and had a procedure done that I've needed for some time.and I even cooked lunch for my brother {of course he had to fix something while he was here}. I got the van hydrolic lift fixed for Jennifer to go to Austin with us at the end of Sept. I miss all my customers / friends... so if y'all are getting together text/call or message me and I'll meet you there. love yall

SO SINCE THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG...
Dear Friends and Family,
Wow.... After 20 incredible years, the time has come for me to take a deep breath, turn the page, and head into my next big chapter: retirement! When I first opened the doors to AmJenns soups & scoops two decades ago, I just wanted to serve good food and create a space where people could gather. Looking back, you gave me so much more than I ever dreamed possible. You didn’t just support a business—you became my extended family. Through every single high and low, your smiling faces, kind words, and fiercely loyal support kept our doors open and my spirits high.Our very last day of restaurant service will be Friday, September 4th, 2026. It would mean the world to me if you dropped by before then. I want to hug you, thank you in person, and share one last laugh.As we wrap things up, a few important notes:
Your Beautiful Decor: Over the years, so many of you generously brought in items to help decorate our shop. If you contributed a piece of your history to our walls and would like it back, please stop by to collect it before September 10th.
Sewing & Alterations:
I’m hanging up my apron, but I'm not putting away my sewing machine! I will still be offering sewing and alteration services to keep busy.
Your AmJenns Favorites: Don't panic quite yet! If you have a special event coming up and find yourself craving a tub of our chicken salad, potato salad, a gallon of loaded potato soup or that famous ultimate grilled cheese mix, I will still be making those to order. Keep a close eye on our page for updates on how to place those orders.
Thank you, from the very bottom of my heart, for making the last 20 years the adventure of a lifetime. I am going to miss seeing you every day, but I am so grateful for the memories we made.
