This week we honor all that our black siblings have endured to reclaim their ability to feed their own children. We remember that black parents have a history of raising and feeding babies that weren’t theirs, while unable to have that experience with their own babies. We celebrate black breastfeeding week to continue the education, opportunities and support for our black communities breastfeeding.
