Alright y’all… we’ve been deep in the kitchen working through recipes, testing flavors, burning through butter, and probably consuming an unhealthy amount of “quality control.”
I wanted to share one of the dishes we’ve been workshopping for the Blush dessert menu.
This is our Peach Cobbler with my signature brown butter biscuit crumble topping and a peach bourbon caramel.
High-end Southern comfort with a little attitude. Sweet peaches, rich brown butter, warm bourbon notes, crispy edges… the kind of dessert that makes you close your eyes after the first bite and reconsider your life choices.
Now before anybody comes for me — this is NOT likely how it’ll be plated for service. This is recipe testing mode. Cast iron, messy edges, straight-from-the-kitchen energy. But the flavor? Oh, the flavor is absolutely there.
Blush is going to be built around elevated Southern favorites done with heart, soul, and just enough recklessness to keep things interesting.
We’re getting close, and I can’t wait for y’all to taste what we’ve been creating.
