A number of people have been asking will you be selling "All Natural Flame Roasted Sweet Corn" at the 2022 Illinois State Fair. The answer to that question is YES and NO. Due to a personal health hiccup, career duties, the Covid scare and a number other reasons I have decided to sell the Sweet Corn part of the operation. We are still providing concession services and Mini Donuts.

I have sold the Sweet Corn portion of the operation to, Doug Ballou a longtime concessionaire and friend. The familiar corn wagon will be located across the street from the north entrance to the Food-A-Rama building this year.

Now for the YES part of the answer. I will be helping Doug and his crew on the opening night and weekends of this year's fair. If your in the area stop by and say hi. We have made a lot of friends and don't want you to think we are running away.

On a personal note I would like to offer a heartfelt Thank You to all of You who have supported us over the years. Thank You.

We Are! Are You? At Tonto's Chuckwagon Catering we hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are beginning a GREAT New Year! We are currently monitoring COVID's effects on the Fair and Festival season. We hope to see everybody having a great time at an event soon!

Due to Covid and some personal illness it has been a slow several months. We look forward to seeing all of our friends at events across central Illinois this summer. Until then we would like to wish all a Very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and a Very Prosperous New Year!

Tonto's is very saddened to learn today that our very good friend, fellow corn vendor, mentor, travel sidekick and ski partner, Ken Rase has passed away. Ken you will be missed much more than you can imagine. Thanks for all of your help and support over the years and miles. Godspeed.

The Corn leg of the 2019 Tonto’s tour is over with the Successful 2019 Central Illinoi Blues and Bar B Que Festival. We would like to thank all the great people we could serve. Thank You for making it a SUCCESS.

THE 2019 tour rolls on with not one but TWO days of Donuts at the Springfield Mile! We will be setting up under the southeast corner of the Pork Patio. We hope to see You!

Still have a jones for some fresh All Natural Flame Roasted Sweet Corn? The 2019 Sweet Corn tour has another stop in Central Illinois next weekend. We will be at the Blues And Bar B Que in Downtown Springfield on Friday and Saturday Nights. Come see some top flight entertainment and enjoy some great food. See you there!

Just two more days and we will be back at the state fair. Will one of our favorite presidents be joining us for All Natural Flame Roasted Sweet Corn? Now that the Colosseum is operationally have relocated back to our spot in the shadow of the building. We are located just in front of the new double decker carousel. Looking forward to seeing all of our friends.
