This afternoon, a group of young people were riding bicycles on the sidewalk, radiating joy and freedom. Ten minutes later, one of my team members notified me that a group of young children were trying to order food, and I stepped in to help, feeling grateful for the opportunity to make a difference. It turned out that they had a total of $78 and were celebrating Eid with lunch. I placed the money down and said, I will put together a menu for you, feeling inspired by their enthusiasm. I then sent over a variety of appetizers and entrees, and they asked me to join them, which I initially declined due to our busy lunch, but my heart told me to seize the moment. However, five minutes later, I changed my mind and joined them, and we shared a truly unforgettable experience. They were extremely polite, and we chatted, laughed, and playfully teased one another, creating memories that will last a lifetime. After the meal, they picked up the cash to settle the bill, which was very sweet, and I felt my heart overflow with gratitude. I counted the money and asked who contributed, then returned it to each of them. They insisted, but I insisted more, knowing that kindness is a gift that keeps on giving. I hope I brightened your day as much as you brightened mine. See you around, gentlemen. 🙂👏💚😍👍
