Just like we don’t serve average hot dogs, we’re not about to leave your sides average either.

To our Flashback family,

This is one of the hardest messages we’ve ever had to write.

After an incredible journey filled with laughter, arcade games, birthday parties, late nights, milkshakes, pizza, and memories we will carry forever, we have made the heartbreaking decision to close Flashback Pizza & Milkshakes.

Like many small businesses, we have faced overwhelming challenges over the past several months — rising food costs, increased operating expenses, staffing challenges, taxes, loan obligations, and the overall financial pressures impacting restaurants everywhere. Despite pouring everything we had into keeping Flashback going, the reality is that the costs have simply become too high for us to continue sustainably.

This restaurant was never just a business to us. It was a dream built around nostalgia, community, family, and creating a place where people could disconnect from stress and reconnect with each other. Watching kids discover arcade games their parents grew up playing, celebrating birthdays and milestones with you, and becoming part of this community has meant more than words can express.

To every customer who walked through our doors, shared a post, brought in friends, supported us during difficult times, tipped our staff generously, or simply made memories with us — thank you. You helped create something special.

We also want to thank our amazing team members, past and present, who gave their hearts to this place and treated our guests like family.

While this chapter is ending, the memories of Flashback will always remain with us. We are deeply grateful for the love and support this community showed us from day one.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and your memories.

With gratitude,
The Flashback Pizza & Milkshakes Family
