Need an excuse to stop by a local farm market or farm stand? This lemon basil pesto will do it! Fresh garlic, 🧄 handfuls of fresh basil 🌿 and a couple beautiful tomatoes! 🍅 Maybe grab some Parmesan & sourdough. Add pine nuts, lemon, olive oil , salt and pepper from your pantry and Voila! Had THE BEST time out at Cedar Ridge Trails for our lemon 🍋 lavender cookie & matcha 🍵 tea class! I was thrilled to see and hug several friends that attended and happy to meet new friends in my happy place! 💜

A special thank you 🤗 to Bridgett Thaxton Miller for being my assistant fur the afternoon. Any excuse to hang out is a good one for me. But thank you again for all of your help!

I plan to leisurely enjoy the lavender fields next week while I’m on my stay-cation! and I’ll be back out there 7/25 teaching a picnic 🧺 class! See the comments for that link.

Such a beautiful 🤩 In the Garden Gala at the Middletown Arts Center last Friday! I was thrilled and honored to cater 👩‍🍳 and be a part of such an amazing evening. If you’ve never been to the MAC, you must go! What a treasure in our own back yard! 🎨 💗 🐝
