We have a simple breakfast/lunch menu. For lunch: Soup of the day (Broccoli, Tomato, Potato with bacon, Minestrone or Carrot).

For breakfast: Pasteles (filled with beef, chicken, egg & bacon, egg & chorizo, cheese and ham & cheese) Empanadas (filled with cheese, chicken and ground beef), Cheese Fingers and Ham Rolls. We also have a delicious assortment of sweets (croissant filled with chocolate, mini apple pies, brownies and cupcakes) and dessert (creme caramel). History

n in 2002 as a home-run business where family members baked traditional Venezuelan pastries called "PASTELES" from their own kitchen. Currently, Pastel Gourmet Venezuela owns and operates two factories (one in Venezuela and another one in Florida), two retail stores in Venezuela, and has licensing agreements with 10 independent franchisees. In January 2015, Pastel Gourmet Texas LLC, a subsidiary of Pastel Gourmet Venezuela, opened its doors in Spring, Texas as part of an expansion plan in the US that began with its first storefront in Doral, Florida in 2008. Our goal is to service Houston's growing demand for an ethnic eating experience "with an eclectic menu that will broaden our appeal to customers who are on the hunt for a healthy meal for breakfast or lunch at the right price." Harris County and its demographics fit this concept perfectly due to customers' openness to new gastronomical influences.

Dear Pastel Gourmet Family,

After 10 wonderful years of serving our community with authentic Venezuelan flavors, we must share some bittersweet news: Pastel Gourmet will be closing permanently after this weekend.

This has been a journey filled with love, hard work, and unforgettable memories — from our empanadas to the countless events and celebrations we were honored to be part of. None of this would have been possible without your support.

We invite you to join us this weekend for one final time to share your favorite flavors, your stories, and maybe even a hug. Let’s make these last days a celebration of everything we created together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for letting us be part of your lives. Though Pastel Gourmet is closing its doors, the love and community we built will always remain.
