We are working on a logo concept for Betty V's and I'd love to get your reactions. :)
This VERY ROUGH concept incorporates elements which represent our family, especially my mom Betty.
COLORS
Green and white remind me of pine trees in snow which was the landscape of my childhood. It also represents my mom Betty's Irish heritage. She loved plants and flowers and being out in nature. (I am looking at a few accent colors to include in the overall branding and it will likely include yellow which was Betty's favorite color.)
SHAPES
The shapes of lily of the valley remind me of the flowers that grew along the back of our house when I was a girl. My mom and I both loved these flowers and spent a lot of time admiring and caring for them.
I've always been drawn to four leaf clovers and have spent a lot of time as a kid crouched down in our yard looking for them. Of course Betty had a fondness for all things related to shamrocks (3 leaves) so I'm sure she would approve.
Both of these shapes represent luck!
STYLE
I am going for an art deco look for the logo since Betty was born in the 30's and was a fan of this style. It's also a fit for her personality which was beautiful and bold.
Picture this on the side of our food truck with "Betty V's" in lovely lettering next to it!
