Happy 18th birthday, Madeleine Mae! Vanilla confetti cake filled with vanilla custard, and iced with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream. Decorations are white chocolate, as well as sugar, shells and sea creatures. The blossoms & my very first stargazer lily is made out of fondant and hand painted.

Yay! First place 🥇 I’m so excited and happy! 😊 lemon and mixed berry cakes with vanilla buttercream, and a strawberry filling. Yum 😋 the base is covered in chocolate fondant that is brushed with melted chocolate to give the appearance of bark texture. The grass is crushed royal icing, and the mushrooms are sculpted with fondant. The top tier is covered in vanilla fondant, & “watercolor painted”. The topper is poured sugar. The tiers represents earth and air, while the topper represents water. The moss on the side of the tree trunk is made of cake. The flowers are made of rice paper.

Happy 10th birthday to my niece, Alexis Grace! Made it into those double digits and now she is practically grown up 😉
The cake is fresh baked vanilla bean with sprinkles, funfetti. It is decorated with vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream, and fresh made chocolate ganache for the spilled “soda”. I also made bubblegum flavored gelatin “ice cubes“.

I know this may sound crazy, but this is my first time making an orange meringue pie. Made with fresh squeezed orange juice, a homemade crust and fresh whipped meringue. Requested by my husband for his birthday treat this year. Perhaps I left it in the oven for a minute or two too long, but the taste is amazing. I will make sure to add much more meringue to it the next time I make this pie! 🍊🥧😋

I can’t believe how late I am in posting this!
Happy birthday, Cody!
Fresh baked vanilla bean cake with homemade Swiss meringue vanilla bean buttercream. The deer and the happy birthday plaque are the only things that are not made from edible material. The moss is fresh made cake, and the bark is semi-sweet chocolate. The brush is fondant leaves, and I even made a couple of rifle bullets to complete the hunter’s theme. 🦌🪵🍃
