Today we celebrate our sweet Bexley's 11th birthday. 🩵🧡

While we wish more than anything that #12 was here celebrating with us, we are thankful for every smile, every laugh, every memory, and every moment we shared with her. Bexley showed us what it means to be a great teammate, a great friend, and an even greater person.

We miss you every day, but your spirit will live on forever. We will carry your heart, your joy, and your love for the game with us wherever we go.

To all who knew and loved Bex - and to the community who has continued to love and support the Hiler family:

Tomorrow June 3rd would have been Bexley’s 11th birthday. Although she is not on this earth, those who love her and those who knew her want to celebrate her tomorrow.

we have a wonderful cake pop baker -Zakiyah Blackiston with Za's Delights - and tomorrow 6/3 (in celebration of Bexley’s birthday) we will celebrate by donating all proceeds of our cake pop sales to the Hiler family.

This will be different than the foundation. This is specifically for the Hilers so that they can go find a way to celebrate on their own - whether it’s grabbing some ice cream, going away for the weekend, or finding an activity to do together.

Bexley likely had plans for her birthday and she’s not physically here to celebrate with her friends and family, but her friends/family can honor her by celebrating and remembering her tomorrow!

—— before I posted this, I asked Nate if it was ok… he said yes and also reminded me how much this community had come out to support by Showing Up!

Because of this, I will say that this was obviously not something we had planned to do and we will have limited cake pops to go around.

I am asking that if you would like to come out and support the family, we would love to see you! Also there will be a maximum of 2 cake pops per family (if you don’t show up with kids) or a 1 cake pop per kid who is there.

We may run out. If we do run out and you come out to support them, we will make sure there is a way you can still support them.

We appreciate your time and would love to see your faces tomorrow!

White Shepherd Coffee was started with the idea that our family could become integrated with our community. Every day we realize just how large our community has gotten and just how small this world is and connected we all are.

One of the communities we have grown close to through our daughter is the softball community here in middle tennessee. This past week, we lost one of our own (Bexley Hiler) who played with our youngest on her travel team. Bexley was a sweet girl, with a big heart and a lot of passion. She showed it on and off the field.

Today we will lay Bexley to rest, but her memory will live on. We know how much love this community has for the Hiler family and how much love the Hilers have given back!

Going forward, the 12th of each month will be a tribute to Bexley. With the support of our community, we will honor Bexley by donating 10% of our proceeds to the Bex12 Foundation.

The 12th of the month - every month, we can take a moment to remember Bex and take time to squeeze our loved ones just a little longer.

We love you Bex, love the Hilers, love this community, and we are proud of how much this community has come out to support this family in so many ways!
