It’s with a very heavy heart that I share this news.
After 30 years in the restaurant business — many of those years spent right here serving the Spring Hill and Columbia communities — the time has come for me to step away and officially retire.
This place has never just been a job to me. It has been my home.
Over the years, I’ve had the blessing of meeting so many incredible people — guests who became friends, coworkers who became family, and a community that welcomed me with open arms. We’ve shared birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, and even tough days together. Those moments mean more to me than I can ever put into words.
Not being able to say goodbye to everyone in person is one of the hardest parts. Please know that each of you has left a mark on my life, and I will carry those memories with me forever.
Thank you for your loyalty, your kindness, and for trusting me to serve you and your families all these years. It has truly been an honor and a privilege.
I will miss seeing your faces more than you know.
Please keep in touch, and may God bless you all.
With gratitude always,
D**o Melendez
