Our hearts are saddened by the passing of our dear friend and longtime customer, Barb Gault, at the age of 80. ❤️

Barb and her family have been a special part of our family for many years. We will always remember her kind heart, warm smile, and the many wonderful memories shared around our restaurant. She was a beautiful person who touched the lives of so many.

We know she missed her beloved husband, who passed away many years ago, and we hope they are now reunited in peace. 🙏
From all of us Genova’s and the Grippi’s family, our deepest condolences go out to her family and all who loved her. Barb will be greatly missed and forever remembered. ❤️🙏

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the passing of Chris Back, a truly kind, compassionate, and caring man who meant so much to our family and our community. ❤️

Over the years, Chris and his family were there for us during some of the most difficult moments of our lives. He took care of the funerals for my mom, my sister, and my brother-in-law, always treating our family with such kindness, dignity, and compassion.

Chris also helped us bring my father home to York from Italy many years after he had passed away and was laid to rest there. That was something very important to our family, and we will always be grateful for the care and understanding he showed us.

But we will also remember Chris for the happy moments. We will miss seeing him come into our restaurant, and the talks while waiting for his food. Those simple moments meant so much and are memories we will always cherish. ❤️

From all of us at Genova’s and the Grippi’s family our deepest condolences go out to Chris’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest peacefully, and may God give his loved ones comfort and strength during this difficult time. 🙏❤️
