Sometimes less is more

Some changes coming to our menu.

As we get closer to our 5 year anniversary, we have been looking back at mistakes we have made, and what we have learned from them. Celebrated what we have done right, and tweaked somethings that were close but not quite there.

We looked back at why we started this business in the first place, our love of fresh homemade food and people. To make our own schedule, work together, and train a younger generation, and watch them grow and move on to bigger and better things.

Somewhere we got off track, and it has become more work than fun.

We are not 25 anymore, at least that is what our bodies are telling us anyway, so 12-16 hour days, are not as easy as they used to be.

So to bring us back to our belief of, "you will never work a day if you love what you do", we are cutting back on somethings.

Starting next week this will be our new daily menu.

We will still offer our specialty pizzas for private events, but feel our new menu will offer something for everyone, including our vegetarian, gluten and dairy free friends.

Thanks for all your love and support over the last 5 years.

This weeks schedule for week of July 5th

In almost five full seasons we have never done this, but I am waving the white flag.

June has been a really rough month for us, 3 surgeries, the dryer belt broke, our well quit welling, and we had to have a new well dug, 3 teeth pulled, had to replace a trailer tire between 2 events and our AC went out and the motor had to be replaced yesterday on the hottest day of the year.

So while the corn is corning and Mother Nature is throwing a tantrum, we are taking the rest of the week off, to rest, recoup, regroup so we are ready for Saturday our biggest event of the season.

Stay hydrated, stay cool when you can, check on your people and please be safe the rest of this week.

We will see you at Eureka Lake on Saturday, and looking forward to a fabulously uneventful July.
