If you’ve been following Redemption’s journey then you know it’s been an amazing five years of business! From community fundraisers, family nights, and cultivated woman’s events we’ve done it, loved it, and will honestly never forget it! However, a couple years ago I (Abby) started going back to school online to pursue a degree in counseling.
Last summer, after lots of prayer and wrestling, it felt clear that God was saying it was time to close the business. I wasn’t sure why, but I just had a clear sense He was saying, “I know you don’t understand, but I want you to be ready for what’s next.”
So in August of last year we announced Redemption was closing for good. The news was met with lots of heartfelt messages from all of you and we were truly honored! We finished out the season, said our tearful goodbyes, and stepped into a season of unknown.
Fast forward a couple of months and parts of God’s timing and grace started to make a lot more sense…
In October found out she was expecting her first baby!🤰🏽
In December-February@abigailmelton_visited her college for the first time in person and travels overseas for a month long missions trip. Which ultimately led to the decision to move to school in person to finish out the rest of the degree there.
Big changes and lots of evidence of God’s providence and grace.
So we close up shop with full hearts, grateful for the years we had, and excited for what’s in store for the next person who’s looking to use coffee as a vehicle to loving on people!
