We want to give you a quick update:

The person interested in buying Cole’s fell through.

We are a franchise so we hope to find an ambitious person to open one in the valley or CDA Idaho. We also are still looking for someone to acquire the full business and grow it.

Until then, we are looking at Space nearby. Our realtor Callie is submitting a letter of intent on our behalf to lease another building.
If the lease agreement and terms are doable, we will move to the new space after we get through Thanksgiving orders. Please send good thoughts that this happens. We want to continue serving our awesome gluten-free community.

Dear Cole’s community, I am writing to let you know that Cole’s Bakery & Cafe is losing its lease at the end of the year.

Unfortunately we may need to close if a new location isn’t found.

Re: a new location: after searching for some time, relocating doesn’t look very promising.

Re: our current location: our landlord will use the entire building for his own business. We can’t remain in the space.

Since we are unable to remain in our current location, we plan to sell Cole’s.

We hope to find an ambitious, passionate individual who would love to carry Cole’s forward and continue what has been a staple for Spokane for many years.
