We’re looking for a couple of great people to join our Country Place family!

🍳 PART-TIME EVENING COOK (10–20+ avg hours per week)
🍺 PART-TIME NIGHT & WEEKEND BARTENDER (16–24+ hours per week)

We’re looking for dependable, hardworking people with a positive attitude who are ready to jump in, work as a team, and take great care of our customers in a fast-paced environment.

I had the privilege of delivering a check for $6,320.15 to Cheri at Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary—funds raised from our Country Place Cruisers for Critters Car Show!

While I was there, I got to meet the donkey, geese, goats, sheep and some very large pigs happily soaking in their mud baths. One curious goat even helped himself to a drink of my water. He seemed a little disappointed when he discovered there was no vodka in it! 😂🐐

It was so heartwarming to see exactly where the money is going and how much love, space, and care these animals receive.

Thank you again to all our sponsors, volunteers, patrons, friends, family, and community members who helped make this possible. We may have raised the money, but the animals definitely stole the show! ❤️🐾

This thank-you post may be about a month late—but we are still smiling about the Country Place Cruisers for Critters Car Show!
What an incredible day! We had beautiful cars, loud engines, amazing people, adorable animals, and baby pigs that may have completely stolen the show!
Thanks to our wonderful friends, family, patrons, customers, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and community, we raised an amazing $6,320.15 for Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary!
The cars may have been shiny, but our community shined even brighter. Seeing the animals and learning more about the difference Higher Ground makes reminded us exactly why we put on this event.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, sponsored, brought out a vehicle, helped behind the scenes, or simply came to enjoy the day. We may be late posting this, but our gratitude is right on time! ❤️🐾🚗🐷
And don’t lock those beautiful cars away in the garage just yet—Big Sky Drinkery is having its car show this Saturday, August 1st! Bring them out and join us for another fun day of great cars, great people, and community spirit!

❤️ Before the excitement begins, I want to take a moment to say a few heartfelt thank-yous.
First, a huge thank you to my good friend Bill Silcock and Richie for all of your help getting my sprinkler system up and running at the Country Place and the Big Sky. BILL thank you for my one-on-one crash course on drip irrigation! 🌸 My flowers are going to be thanking you all summer long, and I truly appreciate your patience, knowledge, and willingness to help.
I'd also like to give a very special thank you to the VFW Posts #51 and #1474 for sponsoring our Cruisers for Critters Car Show. As nonprofit organizations yourselves, I know your resources are limited, which makes your generosity mean that much more. Your support of our community and the animals at Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary is truly appreciated.
Today is finally the big day! I hope to see everyone bright and early, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather cooperates. This event wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of our friends, sponsors, volunteers, and this amazing community.

There are some people who have been part of the Country Place family for so long that they're more than customers—they're friends. Rodney Sankey and Karen Power with Bulldog Towing are two of those people.
For more than 20 years, they've supported the Country Place, our community, and once again our Cruisers for Critters Car Show benefiting Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary. Thank you both for your generous sponsorship and for always believing in what we're doing.
Rodney is one of the hardest-working small business owners I know. Whether you need a tow, a jump start, or you've locked your keys in your car (I've definitely been there more than once!), he's the first person I call. More often than not, he's there in just minutes—long before I'd ever expect roadside assistance to arrive and he answers the phone its not push 1 for thus or 2 for that. He is a real person and answers the phone. That's the kind of dependable service you just can't put a price on.
One thing I especially admire is that Bulldog Towing truly cares about keeping our community safe. If you've had too much to drink, they offer discounted rates to tow both you and your vehicle home safely, giving you a ride home as well. It's an incredible service that helps keep impaired drivers off the road and gets everyone home safely. That's the kind of business that genuinely cares about people.
