I went to dinner again last night to see if it would be as good as last week. Yes, it sure was!! These guys are kickin’ it!!!

I literally could not contain my Christmas spirit while we stayed the night at the Santa Suite at the DoubleTree Spokane!

I can’t remember the last time we had so much fun as a family. 🥰 There’s just something about getting out of the house and being in a different environment, especially one so festive and celebratory, to bust you out of your routine and give you a ridiculous smile on your face. 😀

The moment we arrived we were greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies in the lobby and headed upstairs to settle in. The room was filled with all kinds of treats and goodies, and the kids made quick work of it. Candy, hot chocolate, popcorn, and even a mini bottle of champagne for mommy! We lit the fireplace, watched A Christmas Story and then headed down for dinner at Spencer's for Steaks and Chops Spokane. 🥩

There were such thoughtful touches throughout that made this room even better than we could have imagined. The view of Riverfront Park was breathtaking, the deep soaking tub was nap-inducing, and the best part?! Uninterrupted time together. 🤗

Not a bad view to wake up to. We're celebrating our 13th year of marriage this year. Thought we'd "get away" for the weekend. We haven't been anywhere without the kids since we first met 15 years ago! Tonight, dinner at Spencer's for Steaks and Chops Spokane! 😊
