In 2017 Rob Harrison, a retired teacher, along with Mike Zinkgraf an Airforce pilot, and his wife, Katie Zinkgraf a Registered Dietitian purchased McClain's Pizzeria from Matt Heilman. Matt purchased the family recipes of his childhood friend McClain and opened shop in Spokane in 2012. McClain and his wife Robyn own a McClain's Pizzeria in Mandeville Louisiana. The dough we make fresh daily with a

secret ingredient that makes it different. We make our marinara sauce, Nana's dressing, Greek dressing & buffalo wing sauce. We use only premium toppings and we don't scrimp! We at McClain's Pizzeria take great pride in excellent customer service and a quality product. Supporting our community is fun too! :) We have a full bar and 12 rotating beers on tap. We look forward to building relationships with our customers! Come on in and say "Hi!" and watch us hand toss your pizza.

Our Story

Mike Zinkgraf, his wife Katie, and their long-time friend Rob Harrison took a leap and purchased McClain’s Pizzeria in June of 2017. Their friendship started in 1998 when Mike was a freshman in High School and Rob was his Algebra teacher. What began as a mentorship grew into a family over the years. Mike, born and raised in Spokane, currently serves as an active duty officer and pilot in the U.S. Air Force. Katie, also born and raised in Spokane, graduated from WSU and currently works as a Registered Dietitian. Rob recently retired from teaching after 37 years and is currently operating McClain’s Pizzeria.

McClain’s Pizzeria is a truly local, family-oriented restaurant with Hand-Tossed pizza dough that contains a secret ingredient. McClain’s is a one of a kind pizzeria for Spokane. McClain’s has been and continues to be a strong supporter of local schools including Whitworth College, Mead & Mt Spokane High Schools and others throughout Spokane.
