The past 20 months have been unlike any other, and through it all, you’ve been there. We adapted to support artists in Spokane, and you adapted with us. means it takes all of us — artists, volunteers, donors, organizers, — doing our part to create a stronger, more vibrant, just, and culturally rich city. While we’re all still wading through the weight of the world right now, this summer saw incredible milestones we wanted to share, because without you, they wouldn’t have happened.

18 businesses graduated from our Creative Enterprise program, ready to change Spokane's creative landscape with executable business plans, a wealth of resources, and a cohort of peers to collaborate with.

From Here, our retail shop, celebrated its 2nd Anniversary providing a permanent space for 105 local artists and makers to sell their work.

With the support of Better Health Together, we partnered with Black Lens News to host a vaccination clinic and lightened the load of Black and Indigenous artists, musicians, and restaurant owners with $30,000 in financial aid.

Terrain Table, hosted by the amazing Celeste Shaw and Dan Coulston welcomed 300 to a dinner prepared by Chef Jason Foss of Chaps Diner and Bakery, Chefs Austin Conklin, Chong Vang, and CJ Callahan of Inland Pacific Kitchen and Hogwash Whiskey Den, and Chef Chad White of Zona Blanca, High Tide Lobster Bar, and TT’s BBQ for our largest fundraiser to date.

Bazaar put $145,593 back into the pockets of local artists, $25,000 MORE than in years past!

Our Art Auction raised $11,079 towards the $40,000+ it takes to run our gallery each year.

Terrain Gallery continued to feature an array of talented artists, and held a sold-out event that paired Her Words to Life: A Celebration of Black Women Writers with Culinary Dope, a collab with Chef Joe Morris of Luna, Chef Austin Conklin of IPK, and community leader Jerrall Haynes.

And we partnered with orgs like One Heart Native Arts & Film Festival, Spokane Playwrights Laboratory, and Spokane Printfest, all groups doing amazing work to build a vibrant and diverse creative scene here in Spokane.

So for everything that has been accomplished, and for everything to come (BrrrZaar is right around the corner!!), thank you! We are so grateful. ♥️

Okay, so you *might* have to use your imagination a little, this WAS a mucho magnificent🦞 Lobster Roll, from a High Tide Lobster Bar pop-up at Hello Sugar, in Liberty Lake, and it *somehow* jumped out of the container and disappeared before I could snap a picture of all it’s pre-consumed deliciousness! I’m just as shocked as you! Anyway, they will be serving them up until sold out, so drop what you’re doing and GET HERE! Bring the kids and pups. Chef Chad White will be bringing the heat at Crave! again this year!

Chef White is a Spokane Native who never thought about being a chef until he joined the United States Navy. After his naval career, he got a taste for the real kitchen in the kitchens of Prince of Whales and 1500 OCEAN.

White went on to compete on Top Chef 13 and found himself returning to Spokane after. He opened award-winning Zona Blanca Ceviche Bar in 2016, went on to open High Tide Lobster Bar in 2019, and partnered on the opening of TT's Old Iron Brewery and Barbecue.

In the spring of 2020, he received a semi-finalist nomination for a James Beard Award.
