Meet Alexcia Jordan, General Manager and CEO of the Kootenai County Fairgrounds and the North Idaho State Fair.

Alexcia was born in San Diego but raised in North Idaho and proudly calls this community home. Her connection to the fair industry runs deep. With a mother who worked in the fair world, Alexcia grew up helping at events whenever she could, developing an early appreciation for agriculture, community gatherings, and the people who make them happen. Those early experiences shaped both her passion and her understanding of how deeply fairs matter to the communities they serve.

Alexcia joined the North Idaho State Fair in 2015 as Assistant Fair Manager and was honored to step into the General Manager role in December 2016. After building her career in fundraising, event management, and agriculture related organizations, the opportunity to lead the North Idaho State Fair felt like both coming home and following in her mother’s footsteps.

Committed to professional growth and excellence in the fair industry, Alexcia earned her Certified Fair Executive (CFE) designation through the International Association of Fairs and Expositions Institute of Fair Management (IAFE IFM) program. This achievement reflects her dedication to industry best practices, leadership development, and the long term sustainability of fairs and fairgrounds.

As General Manager and CEO, Alexcia is deeply passionate about the people and the impact behind the Fair. From supporting youth in agriculture to working alongside staff, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners, she is committed to creating experiences that bring people together while honoring tradition and thoughtfully building for the future.

Outside of work, Alexcia is a proud mom of two, a lifelong horse lover, and a strong believer that the Fair truly belongs to the community. She is grateful for the opportunity to steward one of North Idaho’s most cherished traditions and help it continue to grow for generations to come.
