Yep! That's right! I took a picture of what I ate and posted it to IG and FB. 😆 But for a good reason...to show that wild edibles can be put with anything.

Here we have sautéed tofu with garlic and some Braggs aminos, fresh spinach and kale, wild harvest onion tops, and chickweed with vegan parmesan and aged balsamic vinegar. 😋👌🏽

Wouldn't it be great to get together with other crafters to pray, uplift, and reach out to our communities with our talents?

Jenny and I have started a page for just that. We are reaching out to all our local MARSHALL, and surrounding areas, crafters. Whether you knit, crochet, sew, maybe you do watercolor art, bead work, etc. Let's meet up to make items together to give to others to bring some cheer.

A friend messaged me and asked if I wanted this.....of course!!!! 😍😍😍 ointment making, soap making, drying and sautéing is gonna be starting.....now!

Purslane folks!!!

It is loaded with antioxidants, minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and beneficial plant compounds and it is the most nutrient-dense weed/food around. Highest in Omega-3 too.

Who doesn't love free food???

And this beauty also can be used on sunburns, bug bites and other skin issues.

We dehydrate it and powder it up for a food thickener...like folks would use corn starch. In fact, this was the "corn starch" of old.

I have worked with this family over the years. In April, they had to flee Khartoum, Sudan when war broke out there, leaving them refugees and having to separate as a family to different towns.
